Mythologie
In der griechischen Mythologie ist Uranus die Personifikation des
Himmels und Sohn sowie Ehegatte von Gaia, der Erde.
Ihre Kinder sind die Zyklopen und die Titanen. Aus Angst davor, von
seinen Kindern entmachtet zu werden, verbannte Uranus seine Kinder
in die Unterwelt Tartarus.
